Which Scrively plan is right for you?
Scrively offers three plans: Starter (Free), Plus (Paid), and Pro (Paid). Monthly and annual billing options are available for Plus and Pro, so you can choose the payment schedule that works best for you. The Starter plan is free and allows you to create your first book, giving you access to the full creation experience. The Plus plan unlocks additional templates and creative features for more flexibility. The Pro plan includes the full range of features, including expanded templates, image styles, and other advanced creation tools such as Scrively Studio and Colorburst. In addition to subscription plans, Scrively also offers one-time purchase options below the subscription tiers for users who prefer a single payment instead of a recurring plan.
Does Scrively offer a free trial?
Scrively offers a Starter plan, which is free and allows you to create your first book, giving you access to the full creation experience. You can get started anytime by heading over to our pricing page.

How to upgrade your plan
You can upgrade from Starter to Plus or Pro at any time directly in the Web App. Log into the Scrively Web App. Click your profile icon in the top-right corner of the dashboard. Select "Billing." Click on "Get Plus" or "Get Pro." Choose monthly or annual billing. Click on "Create My Book." Add your payment method or choose the option to check out with PayPal. Click on "Create My Book Now." Your upgrade will take effect immediately, and youâll gain access to the additional features included in your selected plan. If you run into any issues, please reach out to our Story Guides and weâll be happy to help. Keep an eye out for your welcome email which will include everything you need to get started with your upgraded plan. Will I be billed again after buying Scrively?
If you choose a monthly or annual plan, it will auto-renew. One-time offers such as the 15 Book Bundle are charged once only.
How to view your Scrively plan details
To view your plan details, click your avatar in the top-right corner of the app. Select "Billing." Your current plan will be labeled with a âCurrent Planâ badge, allowing you to quickly identify it and view its details.
What payment methods can I use on Scrively?
Scrively accepts several convenient payment methods: - Credit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover - PayPal - Google Pay - Apple Pay - Amazon Pay - Link You can select your preferred option at checkout.
How to edit your billing information
Keeping your billing information up to date helps prevent any interruptions and ensures you can continue using all features without disruption. It also allows you to easily order physical copies of your book(s). Navigate to your avatar at the top right side of the app. Select "Billing." Scroll down to "Payment Methods" then, click on "Edit." Enter the new billing details. Click on "Save Changes." The new billing details will be applied.
How to Download Your Invoice
Web App users can download their invoices directly from their account at any time by following the steps below. If youâre using the desktop app and need a copy of your invoice, please reach out to our Story Guides and weâll be happy to help. Log into the Scrively Web App. Click your profile icon in the top-right corner of the dashboard. Select "Orders." Click on "Purchases & Subscriptions." Select "Purchases." Or scroll down to "Payment History" to see a list of all payments. Click on "Receipt." You'll be able to view and download your invoice/receipt.
How to find your renewal or payment notification
Ensure you check all email tabs, including inbox, spam and promotions, for the renewal/payment confirmation email. If you're unable to find it, contact our Story Guides for assistance.

Keep an eye out for your welcome email which will include everything you need to get started with your upgraded plan. How to Add a New Billing Method
Adding a new payment method helps ensure your billing information is always up to date and ready to use. This allows you to continue accessing all features without interruption and easily purchase physical copies of your book(s) when needed. Navigate to your avatar at the top right side of the app. Select "Billing." Scroll down to "Payment Methods" then, click on "+ Add Card." Enter the billing details. Click on "Save Card." The payment method will be added to your account.
How to View Your Subscription History
Log into the Scrively Web App. Click your profile icon in the top-right corner of the dashboard. Select "Orders." Click on "Purchases & Subscriptions." All subscriptions will be displayed at the top. Alternatively, click on "Subscriptions." You will see a list of all your subscriptions, including their monthly recurring fees, current status, and renewal dates.
How to downgrade your plan
You can downgrade at any time directly within the Web App. If thereâs anything we may be able to help with before you make that decision, please donât hesitate to reach out to our Story Guides. Weâd be happy to take a look and see what we can do. Log into the Scrively Web App. Click your profile icon in the top-right corner of the dashboard. Select "Billing." Click on "Downgrade." Confirm the downgrade. The subscription will be downgraded to the selected plan.
How to cancel your Scrively subscription
Before you cancel, if something isnât working as expected or you need help getting set up, our Story Guides would be happy to assist. Many issues can be resolved quickly and weâd love the chance to make sure youâre getting the most value from the product. You can reach out to our Story Guides any time. Our small but mighty team of Story Guides is here to help and will respond to all requests as quickly as possible. Log into the Scrively Web App. Click your profile icon in the top-right corner of the dashboard. Select "Billing." Click on "Downgrade." Weâd really appreciate any feedback you can share about why youâre cancelling, as it helps us improve the overall experience. The subscription will remain active for the duration of the billing period. Click on "Confirm Cancellation." Weâll confirm your access through the end of your current billing period. Your billing page will update to display the pending cancellation status. Youâll receive a confirmation email.  We hope to see you again in the future!

What happens when I cancel my Scrively account?
When you cancel your subscription, youâll continue to have access to all paid features until the end of your current billing period. You will not be charged again unless you choose to resubscribe. Once your billing period ends, your account will automatically switch to the free plan. At that point, paid features will no longer be available, and full book viewing through share links will require an active subscription. You can resubscribe at any time to restore access to paid features.
