The New scene feature gives you more precise control over your images, allowing you to refine details, adjust specific areas, and make targeted improvements beyond basic editing tools. It’s designed to help you fine-tune visuals quickly while maintaining quality and consistency.
Based on the page you’re working on, locate the image and click “Edit left illustration” or “Edit right illustration”, depending on which side you want to modify.
⚠️ Each image includes 2 free replacement or regeneration credits. If additional regenerations are needed, you can purchase a Magic Brush regeneration pack.
Click on "New scene."
Click on "View the current scene."
This will reveal the text for the current page.
Below the page text is a field where you can add the illustration prompt. This is where you should describe exactly what the illustration on the page should show. If a character from the story appears in the scene, make sure to mention them by name.
Use the expand and collapse tool in the bottom right corner of the text field to expand or collapse the view as needed.
Select all characters mentioned in the illustration prompt.
Click on "Create illustration."
If you click “Create illustrartion” and a character who's mentioned in the illustration prompt is not selected, a warning like the one below will appear. It will let you know that characters mentioned in the image prompt have not been selected. You can go back and update your selection, save anyway, or choose “Add & Save.” We recommend selecting all characters mentioned in the image prompt to ensure the render accurately matches their appearance.
Scrively will take a few moments to generate the illustration.
The illustration from the provided prompt will be displayed.
Starting on page two onward, you can select the image from the previous page that you want to use as a reference. Note that this option won’t appear on page one since there are no earlier pages available to reference.
If you go back into the image override prompt, you’ll see an option to “Remove scene choices.”
