Customize Narration Pronunciation in StoryMovie
StoryMoive lets you edit the narration text to fine-tune how words are spoken without changing the story itself. This is useful for names, places, made-up words, abbreviations, or any text you want the narrator to pronounce more naturally. In StoryMovie, at the top right of the book you're working on, click "Edit text." StoryMovie lets you replace text in bulk or edit it manually. We'll start with bulk replace. Toggle on "Match case" if you want to find only text that matches the exact capitalization of your search. For example, searching for "Jack" will find "Jack", but not "jack" or "JACK". Enter the text you want StoryMovie to find. The number of matches will update automatically. Enter the replacement text. This can help the narrator pronounce names, places, or other words more naturally. Click "Replace all." All matching text will be replaced. In this example, "Luna" was replaced with "Lu-Nah." Pages containing text replacements will display an orange dot, making them easy to identify. Use the page navigation to move between pages and review your changes. Need to revert the most recent change? Click "Undo." Prefer to edit text manually? Click directly into the text field. Update the text as needed. In this example, "friendship" was changed to "frand-ship." You can also select individual words to preview how they'll be pronounced. With the word selected, click "Preview." If you want to restore only the current page, click "Reset" in the top-right corner. When you're happy with your changes, click "Save text" to apply them. Want to remove all text edits and start over? Click "Reset all."
