How to Remove the Scrively Branding From Your Books (Plus & Pro)
Want full creative control over your completed books? Scrively Plus and Pro users can remove Scrively branding for a cleaner, more professional reading experience that keeps the focus on your work. Click on your photo at the top right side of the dashboard. Click on "Settings." Toggle "Remove Scrively logo from books" on. This feature is available for Plus and Pro users. Click on "Save." The Scrively branding will be removed from the title page, spine and back cover.
How to Update Your Profile Image
Keeping your profile image up to date helps personalize your account. Click on your photo at the top right side of the dashboard. Click on "Settings." If you already have a photo and want to change it, click “Remove Photo” to delete your current profile image. Hover over and click the image icon to choose a profile image from your device. Click the “– / +” controls in the crop image tool to zoom in or out of the image. Click and drag to position the image. Click on "Save" and your profile image will be updated.
How to Set Your Default Book Preferences
Default book preferences help streamline your creation process by setting your preferred styles, formats, and settings ahead of time. Click on your photo at the top right side of the dashboard. Click on "Settings." Scroll down to the Default Book Preferences table. The first setting lets you choose your spread layout. You can choose from three options: Single Image, Dual Image, or Mixed. Single Image: Displays one image per spread, ideal for full-focus illustrations or scenes where a single visual tells the story clearly. Dual Image: Splits the spread into two images, allowing you to show contrasting scenes, before-and-after moments, or two related perspectives side by side. Mixed: A flexible layout that combines both single and dual image spreads throughout your book for variety and dynamic storytelling. Select your "Book Size." Select your preferred "Book Font." The next option is the "Reading Level." Choose from reading levels ages 2–3, 4–5, 6–7, 8–10, or 11+ to match your book’s audience. Next, is the "Language" option. Scrively offers a wide range of languages to choose from, which you can view in the list here. You can also set the numbers of pages per book. Choose between 4–50 pages. Starter plans include up to 15 pages, One-time and Plus plans up to 30, and Pro up to 50 pages. Select the number of sentences per page. Choose between 1-5 sentences. Set the "Number of Characters." Choose between 1-5 characters. Last, select the "Drawing Style. Choose from a wide range of art styles. The Starter plan includes one style. One-time purchases include one style in each category. The Plus plan includes three styles per category, while the Pro plan unlocks all styles. When you're finished, scroll down and click "Save." Want to go back to the default settings? Click on "Reset to defaults."
How to Hide the Print Button on Shared Book Pages
Share Pages let you control which actions are available to readers when they view your public book links. If you want to prevent others from printing your shared books, you can hide the print button on selected Share Pages while keeping the book available to view online. Click on your photo at the top right side of the dashboard. Click on "Settings." Scroll down and toggle on "Hide print button." You can click on "Select all" to apply this setting to all of your books. Or choose individual books where you do not want the print option to be displayed. Click on "Save."
