While creating your book, you can manually add custom characters directly into your story. This allows you to create unique characters on the fly, customize their details, and keep them saved for future books.
In the characters step, Scrively gives you the option to manually add your own characters. The first option is "Add from a photo."
Give the character a name.
Select the type.
Upload the character's photo.
⚠️ For manually added characters: Upload a profile image containing a single person or character only. Avoid images with multiple people, characters, or group scenes to ensure the best results.
If needed you can change the character's photo.
Click on "Add to the cast."
The new character will be added.
Alternatively, click on "Describe someone."
Give the character a name.
Select the type.
Describe the character.
Click on "Add to the cast."
The new character will be added.
