Using Scrively About Page Count Accuracy

About Page Count Accuracy

When generating a book, Scrively uses AI to create your story based on your inputs. While you can select a desired page count, page totals are best-effort and may vary slightly due to how AI generates text.

To improve accuracy, we recommend using the add more details field to guide structure. For example:

  • Request one short paragraph per page
  • Limit each page to 3–4 sentences
  • Ask to clearly separate content by page
  • Choose your template carefully: Some templates offer more space per page. For example, if your story has more text-heavy content, the History templates provide extra room for paragraphs and can help reduce overflow.
  • We also provide the option to delete pages if needed per our guide here.

Even with these guidelines, small variations of pages may occur. This is expected AI behavior.
