When creating your storybook in Scrively, each template determines how text and illustrations appear on the pages. Knowing how your pages are structured helps you preview and arrange your content for the best reading experience.
Page Layout Basics
- Inside Front Cover: Always blank.
- First Printed/Title Page: Appears on the right-hand side.
- Text & Illustration Pages:
- For templates with separate text and image pages, text appears on the left pages and illustrations on the right pages.
- For text/image overlay templates, text and illustrations can appear together on the same page.
Previewing Templates
You can see exactly how your book will look by previewing templates in the "Advanced Options" within the Story Builder. Previewing ensures your text and images appear exactly where you want them before printing.
Tips
- Always preview your book before finalizing.
- Check text placement carefully, some templates may split content across pages differently.
- If you want text and images on the same page, choose a text/image overlay template.
