Your "Bookshelf" is the central hub for all your published stories, making it easy to find, read, and share your creations. Once you’ve finished working on your book in the Designer view and publish it (steps outlined in our guide here), it will automatically appear in your bookshelf. By default, the book is set to private until you choose to change it.
Head over to the "Bookshelf" tab.
A complete view of all books you’ve published will be displayed allowing you to browse and manage them with ease.
Books that have been set to public will display with a view icon and a "Public" status.
Books that have been set to private will be displayed with a lock icon and a "Private" status.
Hover over the book to reveal the ellipsis menu.
Two options will be displayed with the first option including the ability to "Preview published book" exactly as it will appear to your readers on your bookshelf.
Double-click the book to preview exactly how it will appear on your bookshelf for your readers.
Use the right and left arrows to navigate through the pages.
Alternatively, click through each page.
When you're done click on "Back to Published Books."
The next option is to "Share book."
A modal will appear displaying the book’s URL along with settings for player controls, the share button, page layout, and visibility options "Public" or "Private."
You can either copy a direct link to the book straight to your clipboard or manually copy it.
Toggle “Player Controls” on or off to show or hide the play button, music, and audio options. Turning this off removes all player controls for the individual book.
Toggle “Share Button” on or off. Turning this off prevents readers from sharing the book on your bookshelf.
Click on either “Single Page” or “Double Page” to set how your book appears on the bookshelf.
- Single Page: Ideal for adventure books or interactive stories, this displays one page at a time. You can add buttons or other interactive elements that link to specific pages, giving readers a guided, interactive experience.
- Double Page: Displays like a traditional book with two pages side by side, perfect for a classic reading layout.
When you set the book visibility to "Private" a "Password protected" toggle will be displayed.
Toggling it on will display the "Enter password" field to add a password.
When you're all set click on "Done."
Readers will need to enter the password to view the shared book.
