Customize your character by editing details like their name, role, gender, age, and a brief description to shape their personality and relevance to your story.
Click on "Generate" to add an image.
To ensure accurate and high-quality illustrations in your storybook, each character should have an associated image. If a character doesn’t have an image, the pop-up below will appear before you can proceed to the ‘Add Details’ view.”
By default, when you choose to build a story from scratch, you’ll land on the “Generate from image” tab. This setup assumes you’re bringing your own ideas to life and may prefer using reference images rather than relying on AI-generated visuals.
However, if you’d like to tap into Scrively AI for image creation, you absolutely can! Just keep in mind, the more specific and detailed your input, the better the results. Try including unique character traits, vivid settings, emotional tones, or standout visual elements to help the Scrively AI craft the perfect illustration for your story.
Upload the image.
Click on "Generate" and give Scrively a few moments to think. The generated image will then appear on the right side. If you're not satisfied with the image you'll also have the option to regenerate.
You can also upload an image directly from your device to use in your story by heading over to the "Upload Image" tab.
Click on "Browse file" to select the image from your device.
When you're satisfied click on "Done" and the image will be saved for the character.
To remove an image that's associated with a character hover over their avatar and click on the trash icon.
Click on "Add new characters" to add additional characters to your story.
Next, "Add details" to your story which we share more about in our guide here.
