If you’re planning to share your book digitally whether through email, a website, or a download link the PDF – For Web format is your best choice. It’s optimized for on-screen viewing, making it easy for readers to download and read digital devices such as tablets, or computers without sacrificing clarity or readability.
In the “Publish” tab on the right-hand side, start by reviewing and confirming your book’s title.
Next, confirm the author's details.
Select the DPI.
In the bottom left corner, you’ll find your book’s details, including the total number of pages, word count, and illustrations.
Once everything looks good, click on “Export or Print” to finalize your book.
You can export your book as a PDF optimized for the web which is perfect for quick loading and easy sharing.
When you’re ready to download a web-friendly PDF version of your book, click on “Export Book.” You’ll then be prompted to choose give it a name and choose where to save it on your device. Scrively allows unlimited PDF web downloads, so you can export as many digital copies as you need.
Next, the file will move to the “Generating PDF” stage, and once complete, it will automatically save to the location you selected on your device.
If you switch back to the "Story Builder" view while working in the "Publish" view, a pop-up will appear to warn you that any changes to characters or settings will generate a new story and reset your styles and images.
