Bring your stories to life by adding voiceovers to your books. Whether using your own narration or AI-generated voices, voiceovers make reading more interactive and captivating.
In the "Studio" tab, select the book you want to add voiceovers to.
Scrively Studio will open directly to the "Voice-over" tab for the selected book.
The "AI Voice-Over" tab will be selected on the left side by default.
Click the "Narrator Voice" dropdown to choose your preferred voice for narration.
Scroll through the list to explore the available narrator voices and find the one that fits your story best.
The voiceovers available will vary based on the language of your book.
Click the play icon to listen to a preview of the selected narrator voice.
If needed, click pause to stop the current voice preview.
The selected voiceover will be highlighted and displayed in the dropdown field.
When you’re satisfied with your choices, click "Generate Voice-Over" to create the narration.
Give Scrively Studio a few moments to generate the voice-over for your book. If you do not want to proceed click on "Cancel."
Use the play button to listen to the voice-over for the current page.
As the narration plays, the progress bar will advance accordingly.
Use the left and right arrows to navigate between pages.
View the total voice-over duration and the current playback position at the bottom right corner.
When you’re happy with the voice-over, click "Save without publishing."
Save without publishing: This saves your work in your account but does not make it visible to anyone else. It's perfect for drafts or when you want to refine your book before sharing it. Save and publish: This saves your work and makes it live so your audience can view or access it. Use this when your book is ready to be shared with readers.
If you prefer, you can record your own voiceover. Please note, switching from AI voice-over to recording your own will trigger a warning below indicating that previous recordings won’t be lost unless you record new audio in the new mode.
