Faster loading & smoother navigation

• The app shows a lightweight loading screen while content loads in the background, so you won’t wait through long freezes.
• Pages and large pieces of content are loaded when you navigate to them, which reduces waiting and keeps the app responsive.

Templates

• Templates now load in two stages: quick previews first, full data only when opened. This makes the templates list faster to open and scroll.
• Templates load more as you scroll (infinite-scroll/pagination behavior), so long lists don’t block the UI.
• New template additions
  • Sports 4, 5, 6, 7
  • Horror 11–16.

Story Builder

• The Story Builder is now a full page (no more modal), which makes it easier to work on longer projects and reduces interruptions.
• The step indicator and flow were updated to be clearer and feel more modern.

Templates tab

• Template cards on the dashboard were redesigned for clarity.
• Added “All templates” categories so it’s easier to find what you want.
• Book size selection now shows image previews and friendly names so you can tell what each option looks like before choosing it.
• A live preview panel now shows how a template will look with the current dimension and illustration style.

Characters

• Selected character details now appear in a right-side preview panel instead of a separate popup — faster to view and edit.
• Added a Generate button to help you create character descriptions automatically.

Details

• Inputs (genre, writing style, location, era, etc.) now open in the right-side panel for better visibility and easier editing.

Chat Assistant

• The floating assistant button hides when the assistant panel is open to give you more space.
• Each AI response now has a copy button for quick copying to the clipboard.

Images & Editor

• Image control options were simplified (the main change you’ll notice is a “cover” option that better fits illustrations into templates).

Bug fixes

• Auto-updater: Fixed an issue where background updates could use excess memory. The updater should now behave more efficiently.
• User books & Projects: Improved loading indicators and reduced unnecessary reloads so your library feels more responsive.
• Fixed various UI inconsistencies (overflow, alignment, small layout bugs) in the Details tab, templates, and dashboard.
• Fixed chat assistant errors and layout problems so conversations are more stable.
